Nauru Sustainable Energy Fund

NSEF offers a sustainable incentive for businesses and households to switch towards energy-efficient and renewable energy systems.

  • EE Fund

    The energy efficiency fund will offer attractive rebates to customers who purchase appliances with three or more energy-efficient stars, including top-rated fridges, freezers, and air conditioners.

  • Low Carbon Fund (LCF)

    The LCF is a UNDP/GEF project with NUC that provides a 30% appliance rebate scheme for 3.5-star and above rated fridges, freezers and washing machines.

  • LEDs

    The Commercial and Government LED Lighting Fund will help sites upgrade from old halogen, incandescent or fluorescent lighting to efficient LED lighting. The incentive is part-funded by the NZ Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade supported by the Government of Nauru (DCCNR).
